Prince of Persia

May 30, 2010

I've been wanting to watch Prince of Persia since its first day of showing, but I only got to watch it yesterday. Anyway, cameras are not allowed even to take pics of the movie posters so no pics of that. (Majority of the pics here are taken via the Kodak ZX1, and that explains the blurry-ness.)

I arrived at the mall quite early. I eventually learned that Dan was still watching DVD at that time. K, on the other hand, was already at Dan's house (they're neighbors) waiting for him to finish watching. Gah!

So what to do? Roam around the mall a little.

Aside from National Bookstore, Booksale is my favorite place to pass the time by. I wanted to buy a paperback but I couldn't find anything interesting. (That's the problem with so many choices.)

And there's really a The Kris Aquino Magazine? Wow where have I been hiding? LoL!

This is at Oxygen. I want this jacket. But I'll wait until next week. That's the time they can give me a discount. Heh!

SM Bicutan's Bldg. A was so noisy because of this Santacruzan thing by Saint Francis of Assisi College.

Got tired of standing and walking and roaming around so I decided to just wait for Dan and K at Pancake House. The restaurant was literally empty.

Aside from the staff, of course :D

I ordered this mini halo-halo with ice cream. It was almost half-finished when the two arrived.

I really think K looks better with faded hair. They also had halo-halo (not the mini), which I wasn't able to take a picture of.

And then we went to see the prince.

I wanted to karaoke after the movies but they seemed not in the mood for it so we just left Club Synergy.

And went to church instead.

Look at what K was wearing.

Good thing I didn't wear mine. LoL! It would have looked like a uniform.

Barber for a Day

May 29th.

Cleaned one of the CPUs yesterday morning. Just look how dirty it was.

Then K texted me, borrowing the clipper. But he also wanted me to cut his hair. So we made Dan's backyard a barber shop.

Mohawk!

Mohawk #2 (a little shorter)

But of course that's just for the fun of it. He really wanted a fade.

Not bad!

But this one is:

That's Dan's brother Mao. And no, I wasn't the one responsible. His other brother, Lindon, cut his hair.

And look at the view from Dan's rooftop:

It's BJMP where Ampatuan is currently held. The kids told me he occupies the whole of the third floor.

Just Like Caffeine

I used the Cherry Mobile P1i the whole day that I decided to use it as my main phone. Reasons: (1) It's not so heavy when I choose to dangle it on my neck, and (2) also not so bulky in my pocket whenever I choose to put it there.

So I removed old cards from my card wallet,

to make room for the P1i. And look I still have room for my SD card case!

I couldn't sleep yet so I organized my Orocan tambakan a little.

The yellow thing isn't a Noynoy bracelet. It's my entrance ticket to the last Pulp Summer Slam because they'd ran out of real tickets when we arrived. The black baller, on the other hand, was from e-Games' Domination IV at the SMX.

The umbrella tag.

And this text is like caffeine. It's keeping me up until now

It's Not a Calculator

Went to SM mainly to buy dog food. But as I passed by the department store, I remembered I already ran out of lip balm. I was holding a Nivea when I saw a new (to my eyes) brand so I returned the Nivea and bought the new one.

Blistex

Then I saw these colorful umbrellas and bought the smallest one - lower right, color blue.

Then I found out Dan was also at the same mall, so we met and had a quick McDo meryenda.

McSpaghetti

While eating at McDo, my niece Angel texted me that she's in Pasay going to the same mall we're in cuz she wanted to buy a cheap Cherry Mobile phone as a back-up cellphone. LoL!

I met her at the Cherry Mobile kiosk at the bridge.

These P1i phones caught my eyes, especially with its price of only Php999.00. But it's so colorful it's not for me. They have black and blue models but they were out-of-stock.

Angel, on the other hand, loved the P2 model. So she bought it for Php 1,200++.

And since I really, really want that calculator-looking phone, I went to Hello! and asked for the black P1i. They don't have it but they do have the blue one!

Lookie! I find it so cool. And my younger friends love it, too!

When both of us have new cheap-o phones already, we went to KFC. I really, really love KFC's arozcaldo.

Bought this cellphone charger adaptor for Php50.00. I'll give it to Dan so he can stop borrowing charger from Gerald.

And finally the dog food.

Youngest Client

Speaking of pretty boys, look at my youngest client of the day:

So adorable!

K and EJ

Kenneth visited with his brother EJ. Pretty boys in the house!

From A to D

Pic taken with Kodak ZX1. Blurry. No macro.

But because the name of the person I love the most starts with a letter D, I altered this letter A a little to become D.

Meralco Sucks

My internet connection almost got f*cked up again. Sumabit ang PLDT wire ko with this Meralco contractor truck (ECOM). Just like what happened earlier this month (same contractor, different truck), which caused my phone/internet to go dead for four days. Good thing I still have a dial tone after the incident today. The wire just got detached from my wall. I blew my top so early. Sorry.

And then I called the number listed behind the truck and a giggly girl named Joan took the details. You just know when something will be done with your reklamo, and when nothing will happen with it. The giggly girl was even talking to someone (a guy, perhaps a crush) while taking my call. Darn.

Lovers

Coffee using my favorite mug (cuz it's given by my favorite nephew Juansen).

Found this cute rubber letter on the floor while I was cleaning the shop. I'm sure it's an "a."

But it can also be used as "g."

Yea, went to church. Not much people cuz it's the 8pm-9pm mass. Did that to escape the heat, but it's still so hot. I stayed at the seats outside, not because it's hot, but because...

I brought Princess with me. Poor doggie hyperventilated all throughout the mass. Such heat.

And look at the lovers. So sweet.
